Fèis Club

We are now taking bookings for Fèis Club 2024-2025:

Fèis Club is a new informal and fun after school music-making experience for children and young people in Tain, Invergordon, Alness and Ullapool.

Up to 16 young people in each area will be able to come along to enjoy a free 1.5 hour music-making session after school one night a week.

Two experienced Fèis Rois musicians will lead each session, which will start with a free snack before lots of musical fun & games. Each week they’ll explore rhythm, sing and play together. No musical experience is necessary and we will provide instruments to anyone who would like to learn. We also encourage children who already play to bring along their own instruments too.

At the moment we have funding to run these sessions until the end of Term 3 of the academic year.

We will be running sessions at the following schools this academic year:

ALNESS ACADEMY
S1 – S4
Tuesdays in the Drama Studio | 3.45pm – 5.15pm
Term 1: Tuesday 3rd September – Tuesday 8th October 2024 (5 weeks)
Term 2: Tuesday 29th October – Tuesday 10th December 2024 (7 weeks)
Term 3: Tuesday 14th January – Tuesday 1st April 2025 (11 weeks)
There will be no sessions on Tuesday 17th September 2024 or Tuesday 18th February 2025 due to schools in-service.

Tuesdays in the Canteen | 3pm – 4.30pm
Term 1: Tuesday 3rd September – Tuesday 8th October 2024 (5 weeks)
Term 2: Tuesday 29th October – Tuesday 10th December 2024 (7 weeks)
Term 3: Tuesday 14th January – Tuesday 1st April 2025 (11 weeks)
